Anorexia

Some people have an extreme fear of being fat, even when their weight is a lot lower than is healthy for them. Sometimes they become so thin that others notice (and sometimes keep wearing lots of baggy clothes in order to hide it). They may try and keep reducing their weight by starving themselves or by only eating certain foods. Sometimes they pretend to eat but don't. Often they don't like eating in public.

If you are concerned about your own diet or that of a friend you can check it out with any one of the organisations listed below.
